Once again a different set of standards are applied to the Right and Trump in particular than is ever applied to democrat causes, we see repeated over and over again, just as in back in the 2012 election when Obama used the IRS to chiefly block Romney organizations from operating which suppressed Romney votes in an act that never would have applied to or been tolerated by the democrats.
You may remember back on Oct. 7, a private land owner had erected tall letters on his hill far from California Highway 405 which simply said TRUMP which was visible from the highway in daylight was immediately reported and taken down by the state highway commission who immediately went onto the private land and took down the sign themselves without any court order or chance to challenge, citing it as both a "distraction and danger to highway motorists" as well as a potential fire hazard.
I was never sure how wood signs on a hillside posed a fire hazard, unless set afire deliberately by some trespassing anti-Trump activist.
Now a new anti-Trump display has been put up in Arizona along Camelback Mountain by a collaboration of anti-Trump organizations that can be seen from TWO highways as well as several neighborhoods seen as drivers drive by at night. The message repeats in two languages over several minutes saying various things such as TRUMP FAILED and the number of Covid deaths.
So far, the sign has been allowed to operate with absolutely no concerns over it starting a fire or distracting anyone, even though it is shown in the dark and requires the viewer to stare for several moments to read it all and it is electrically driven. Can anyone say they are surprised?
The Phoenix Police Department has of course declined to comment, as expected. This sign will be allowed to operate unimpeded.

California removes Hollywood-style Trump sign, cites ‘traffic hazard’
