If Hitler were holding WWII today, the USA either wouldn't join in on the fight or we'd lose trying. And if Japan were attacking Pearl Harbor today, not only would we not retaliate by nuking them, many figures would blame us for the attack.

The days of everyman joining the war effort for God, Guts, Guns, Glory & Country to fight the Red Menace while every woman works in the factory to produce more weapons of war altogether as a team are gone.
