True, those going in to fight the racist fascists are mostly pale in the face. The Army was segregated in a way unacceptable today, and embarrassing to remember. The fact remains that, along with the Civil War, most of the casualties of the struggle against authoritarian racists, European or Asian, would be classed as "white".
