book of Psalms is poetry----but the lineage of Abraham
is supposed to be a chronicle of that family's history
without being a contrived morality tale. In fact, it is,
clearly, NOT a morality tale which is an interesting break
from lots of other scriptural writings----or even English
novels. It is also not an account of a CULT FIGURE. For
a scriptural writing it includes a remarkable level of
character development, as intricate as those of some of
the Greek plays ----like the ORESTIA.
