Lawyer who prosecuted Trump hauled in front of House judiciary committee

Every time the Cult puts on one of these dog and pony shows, they embarass themselves both nationally, but also internationally, undermining the American "rule of law", and sinking deeper into autocracy and authoritarianism.

It's lot "logic", it's "law". In order for it to be a crime, to prosecution has to prove your "intent" to commit a crime. Trump proves he intended to commit a crime, by lying about having the documents, and refusing to return them, and then covering up his possession of the documents, until the search warrant is executed.

Both Biden and Pence, who found classified documents at their residences, notified the FBI and allowed for searches of the premises without warrants, to ensure they had handed over everything.

No intent can be proven in either case, but it's glaringly obvious in Trump's case. And it's also obvious that Trump WANTED to be arrested.
Biden's intent was to commit crime because as VP and President he knew taking them was unlawful, yet he still did. Do you think he didn't know, are you that naive?

What you say about opposition to Trump is largely true. But that's for Americans only because it's his domestic policy.

Trump's foreign policy still has attraction to the rest of the world.

The majority of the world are opposed to America's war against Russia, and the large majority is Brics..

Americans aren't dealing with the domestic issues around Trump.
But see.... Here's the thing -- We don't give a flying **** what the rest of the world thinks.

That's not bravado, that is fact. We don't need them. We don't want them. We do very well without them.

Most of our problems have come from trying to either help or appease the rest of the World. Seriously. WW1, WW2, Korea, Viet Nam, Asscrackistan, I-Ran, I-raq..... Hundreds of thousands of American Dead, countless Trillions spent, fortunes ruined, good men twisted and crippled....

And for what? Seriously -- For what? So, ******* dirtbag countries like France, the UK, Germany can look down on us and smile? **** them.

Even today they're still trying to dick us around. The UK imported 18,000 US-Made autos last year while we imported 102,000. We imported 750,000 cars from Germany while they imported only 170,000 of ours.

Between those two, that's over a 600,000 Automobile difference. And the ones we imported were MUCH more expensive than the ones we exported. So that's what -- 3 BILLION Dollars?? Check the zeroes.... :dunno:

Yeah, we had a Trade Surplus with the UK, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Australia but that's about it. And the surplus weren't all that much.

So you know what? **** the rest of the world. Trump is right, if they want to do business with us, it's got to be on OUR Terms or they can pound sand up their asses.

So where's the problem?

Democracy in action
Treating those as we have been treated

You're the richest nation in the world. You set up the World Trade Organization and the United Nations so you could run the world, and now you're saying the rules you made, are unfair to YOU.

How did you become the richest, most powerful nation in the world, when everyone is "screwing you over"?

If you had ever competed in your life you would understand

In the United States, treason, as defined by the Constitution, carries a severe penalty, including the death penalty, imprisonment for at least five years, a fine of at least $10,000, and disqualification from holding any office under the U.S. government.

Look at the board idiots lining up to agreed with this stupidity and ignorance. THIS is why Republicans are dumbing down the US education system, and no longer teacher Americans to think for themselves.

Notice how everyone who is successful in business, is saying that Trump's tariffs are a catastrophe. Only the 6 times bankrupt, twice impeached, convicted felon, thinks this will work.

Stick to the topic being argued.

They all care a lot.

America is now facing an equal or more superior force.

Go for it

Lets bring up all the evidence against Trump about storing classified documents at Mara Lago.

Trump had squashed most of it, but now the Prosecutor has to bring it up in his defense

Let's bring up all the evidence about Biden STEALING classified documents he wasn't even allowed to have and keeping them in his garage.

The trouble with your argument is, it can all work for Trump if he's able to establish himself as a fascist dictator.

Why would anybody still be thinking that a court of law can interfere in his plans?

Trump got 87 real indictments. It’s true. It really really is!
It's as useless to indict Trump as it would have been to indict Churchill or even Hitler.

That's not the way this situation is going to play out.

Recent elections in Canada and Australia say otherwise. Opposition to Trump is global, as is recognition of his incompetence.

The world can ill afford Trump or his policies. He can't be trusted any more than Xi or Putin can be trusted.

Canaduhhhhh can ill afford its own defense so STFU. A simple thank you will do.

"Lawyer who prosecuted Trump hauled in front of House judiciary committee

Exclusive: Jay Bratt, who led Mar-a-Lago case, first special prosecutor known to be summoned after Trump vows revenge

The former special counsel prosecutor Jay Bratt is scheduled to appear before the Republican-led House judiciary committee next week as it attempts to find instances of politicization in the federal criminal cases brought against Donald Trump, according to three people familiar with the matter.

The deposition of Bratt, who led the criminal case over Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents as a top deputy to the former special counsel Jack Smith, has been scheduled for 10am ET next Wednesday, according to a notice reviewed by the Guardian.

Bratt’s appearance is the first known instance of a special counsel prosecutor being hauled before the judiciary committee since Trump took office vowing revenge and personally directing the firings of more than a dozen prosecutors who worked for Smith within days of his inauguration.

It was not clear how long the deposition might last and whether Bratt planned to invoke any privileges to avoid testifying. A spokesperson for the judiciary committee did not immediately respond to questions about the deposition."

One of Biden's home invaders will be put under oath and questioned. I wonder, if a federal grand jury has already questioned him?

Sadly, the only thing they are likely to find out is how clever Democrats will be at inventing new privileges to justify refusing to answer.

For eight years, it was "ongoing investigation."

Now, my guess is they will invoke some form of "closed investigation," or "agency privilege."

So you think executive privilege doesn’t exist?

And more than half were thrown out. You can indict a ham sandwich, doesn't mean it's guilty. Lawfare was used against Trump and the American people rejected the lefts attempt to derail his nomination and 2nd running for president. Just like everything else, they failed at both. They united the country AROUND Trump. You shot Trump in PA and that shot him into the White House.
