Sorry. It's just my poor English. I'm not angry at all. You just made a mistake. I'm not going to judge you, anyone could do it in your circumstances. But now it's time to undone consequences of your mistake and roll back NATO's military infrastructure to, at least, 1997 borders. And here we have, basically, three options:
1. You undone it by yourself diplomatically. You may even leave NATO. It is the cheapest way for you. Actually, you might even earn some resources from Europe.
2. We undone it by our own military force and you do not intervene. You'll pay a lot, but not in your lands and not in millions of your citizens and you'll avoid nuclear annihilation.
3. We undone it, and you intervene. This would be your gravest mistake, quite likely - the last mistake in the history of the USA.
But the fact is that you failed to conquer the ukraine in a reasonable time frame or at a reasonable cost.
Really? Previous time retaking Ukraine took three years (plus at least twenty years of anti-guerilla warfare in Western Ukraine) and at least 7 million lives. Now it takes a bit more time but definitely much less lives.
I believe our current progress is quite reasonable (including attrition in the USA and NATO countries).
