Do they know they're being manipulated? Back then it was enough with all the spending! They truly believed the Republicans wanted to solve the debt problem. When the only cuts they wanted to make were social programs that poor and middle class people rely on.

With Trump it was to bring back all those low skilled high paying union jobs back at $15 hr. How's that gonna help? Who's that gonna help? We got lots of those jobs now unfilled.

Getting rid of illegals I said would raise wages but now I'm not so sure. Because wages went only so high when we have a shortage of workers. And to slow down inflation, the feds raised interest rates. Which will slow the economy and wages will never go to where we want them to be just by kicking out illegals. These low wage unskilled uneducated workers need to unionize. We should have never sent those high paying union jobs overseas in the 2000's. But oh well. So now Republicans can't complain about a global economy. They made it. Clinton signed NAFTA yes but Bush invented it and all the Republicans were in favor of it. Don't forget that.

So now I'm a globalist too. I'm not a anarchist I'm doing too good to be that. I'm too old.

This happens with a lot of bills. A Senator votes against something he knows is going to pass without him so he can show his constituents he didn't go along.

the only reason mccain voted against it was because there was nothing to replace it. he sure was in facor of bighealthcorp to sell their product across state lines. obamacare was up for a vote some +/- 60x. they sure tried.

Yes I remember Republicans saying prices would go down if big pharma could sell their products across state lines. Would that have made much of a difference? Why have Republicans stopped pushing for this? Why do Democrats shoot it down?

buying a healthcare insurance policy across state lines presents a boatload of problems. (R)s are for a free market system with as little regulating as possible.
