Las Vegas Shooter's Criminal Past---Buh, Buh, BUh, He's Got RIGHTS!

90% of American polled in 2012 wanted background checks, but the NRA got it's way and the infantile, stupid righties support this.

"""A CRIMINAL PAST

Jerad Dwain Miller had a lengthy criminal history dating back at least to 2000 that saw him in and out of jail on felony and misdemeanor charges in both Washington state and in his home state of Indiana.

In 2010 and 2007 he was convicted of drug dealing and possession charges related to marijuana.

Jerad Miller was arrested by Tippecanoe County, Ind., police on a battery charge in 2009 but later found not guilty.

In February 2011, he was arrested on a strangulation battery charge in Dearborn County, Ind., though the result of that case is unclear.

He married Amanda Woodruff in September 2012, according to court records in Lafayette, Ind.

Jerad Miller also was no stranger to police in Benton County, Wash. District Court records there show he was convicted of obstructing a public officer and DUI in August 2002.

In April of that year he was found guilty of assault with intent to cause injury, and also had earlier convictions for third-degree malicious mischief, third-degree theft, harassment and taking a motor vehicle without permission."""""

90 percent of Americans want expanded background checks on guns. Why isn?t this a political slam dunk?

holy shit, they put up everything in this mans life, when and who married, his criminal record, etc....IS that even legal?
and you're freaking out you better never leave your house
when you gun freaks demand there be more limits on abortions (that kills more than guns in a day) then we might take you serious about how you care for human life..until then stop stepping on all gun owners because of some one nut

Conservatives certainly don't need right wing extremists like this demonstrating their hatred of government by gunning down innocent people. With a relentless flow of media propaganda blaming government for ever ill that society faces, it's inevitable that some nuts are going to react by starting their own revolution.

This here is the problem. Why did he keep going the "out" part of the in and out of jail?

Why exactly do you think honest citizens want/need to be armed?

Here's a dollar, buy a clue.

I don't need your dollar or your clue.

The majority of people in prison are there because of personal drug use, mostly marijuana. These are not people committing violent crimes.
New York City arrested 50,000 people last year on marijuana charges. Ridiculous. These people take up a lot of room. They shouldn't even be in there in the first place. Overcrowding county jails and state prisons mean more people are released and certainly some of them who should be in longer, like Miller, for instance.

So erad Dwain Miller was just a pot smoker who was in and out of jail for personal drug use and suddenly he decided to kill Vegas cops? Why do you suppose he did that?

Oh, for god's sake doesn't anybody FOLLOW a thread or just cherry-pick? He had numerous felony charges, too. Scroll back a few posts.

So it was illegal for him to buy, own, even hold a gun.
Which law would have prevented him drom doing what he did?

Yeah, you got your ass kicked in the last thread so now you're doing the same thing hoping for a different result.

Facts never get in the way of a libtard, you have to have a brain to know a fact, libtards are brainless twits.

He isn't my hero. He was a coward nut case who got off easy, should have died a slow painful death. He was probably your butt buddy.

Actually you look like a moron. Again.

Now, he was a convicted felon and thus barred from owning guns. So what law would he have obeyed to prevent this?

Tell me how a universal background check stops one criminal from selling a gun to another criminal.

Dumb ass, that's what my point was then you went to that the jails are full because of pot smokers and recreational drug users. Try to stay on a point.

Your whole line of crap is a strawman. Libertarians and conservatives want him to be in jail. That is our solution to keeping him from buying a gun.

technically it does not but it would go along way in preventing potential mass murders from obtaining guns.

So did the shooter procure his weapons illegally? Sorry, I'm trying to understand the point of the thread. I still haven't seen anywhere anything was illegally done or procured. So I was assuming you thought it was, yet no evidence of such.

Huh? Background checks, it's about background checks. Who the hell is talking about procurement?

One thing I see consistently on this board by the illiterate righties, they can't comprehend more than two short sentences or a single headline. That's it.

The other thing I see is a failure to corroborate or validate their claims and comments. Links are usually to blogs, not Reuters, AP, or any other valid news agency.

Lazy or just simply not very bright?

Background checks are already the law of the land, have been for years.

what do conservatives have to with this? and you all should talk..your leftwing hate sites and even your own elected asses (harry reid and Koch bro) has turned you lefties into zombies who hate, the Nra, the Tea party, the Republicans, Fox news, sarah Palin, Ted Nugent, rush Limbaugh, glen beck , etc
Not everyone is in LOVE with our government and they don't stand above the rest of us...They also bring on a lot the hate, just look at your party calling the citizens they represent, domestic terrorist, deniers, flat earthers, etc
You don't think that kind of crap won't piss off some people...
so none of you on left are any better, and when pass around the name calling and hate that your party spew's about the citizens, you have a hand this too so point that right back
