You’re still missing the point. CO2 IR doesn’t need to penetrate meters of water to transfer energy. Heating the “skin” layer is enough, conduction, convection, and turbulence immediately redistribute that energy downward. That’s basic fluid dynamics. The oceans absorb and mix surface heat continuously, which is exactly what Argo floats, temperature profiles, and direct ocean heat content measurements show. Claiming “IR can’t penetrate the skin” ignores how heat transfer in fluids actually works.
