If I got into a heated argument while armed and did not leave the situation and used my firearm (whether he attacked me or not) I would be held on charges for murder. They were not the owner.

The owner has not been called to testify which is interesting as many who were there claimed he was graqteful to the armed men protecting his property. He didnot hire them but was glad to have them around.

I think you're starting to catch on. Nobody else here really is. No, I do not have the right to defend myself with that firearm. I can defend myself othewise. I can block a punch, try to take his knife away if he has one, but I cannot legally use my gun at that point. If I do and kill him, I would face murder charges because I was not legally allowed to use that firearm because I helped create the situation.

You see putting myself in such a position is my fault as far as the law is concerned and because I did, I'm responsible for anything that happens after that point my fault or not.

Another example: A friend of mine has a house he's going to rob and asks me to come with him which I do. I'm not taking my gun because the house is supposed to be empty. After we break in, an occupant comes out of a room with a gun and my friend shoots and kills him. We get out of there and the cops pick us up a few weeks later. I'm going to face murder charges. My friend killed him. I didn't even have a gun on me. My friend even admitted to them that he's the one that pulled the trigger. It doesn't matter as far as our laws are concerned. I'm guilty of murder because I went with him.

Because this kid took a firearm with him into a violent situation knowing there are dozens if not hundreds of foes there, he put himself into that violent situation. He's responsible for anything that happens with that illegal firearm. It doesn't matter if he was attacked, if he attacked somebody else, self-defense is off the table because he knowingly and intentionally put himself in a position of having to use that gun.

I hope this make sense now.

There were no riots in the Martin case. The media tried like hell to create one, but they failed most likely because it was in Florida. But it's an apples and oranges comparison really. Zimmerman was legally armed as he had a CCW and of course was of age to carry.
