Couple things here

Polio was/is an affliction that primarily targets the youth not the elderly.

1. We spent decades coming up with and testing an actual vaccine for polio.
2. The polio vaccine actually keeps you from getting polio
3. We have greater COVID vaccine acceptance than we did even 5 years after the polio vaccine was widely available. States were sending their polio vaccine allotments back to the federal government due to lack of interest.
4. Polio unlike COVID and all Corona type viruses isn't high mutable so a vaccine for polio will work to eradicate it.
5. There aren't highly effective therapeutics which work as well if not better and have no known side effects for polio like we do for COVID.

So before you run off at the mouth you should probably google some shit and do some reading.
