Kimmel's back!

There is strength in numbers. You don't get that?
/—-/ His audience is minuscule. The reruns of celebrity Family Feud was three times and had no cost to ABC. The network was number one in that time slot for the first time.

After Kimmel ate crow that Tues night, I saw mentions where Sinclair and Nexstar both said something about reconsidering 'depending'.

On what it didn't say.
Depending on how much the American people demanded his return.

If you disagree, lets have a civil discussion about it.

I couldn’t agree more and to go even further when any and I mean any government official tries to take our 1st Amendment rights. I said it when Biden tried to bully social media, I said it when protests were allowed during a pandemic but religious freedoms were suppressed and I said something when Carr used his power to fire Kimmel.

Were you against all three? If you weren’t, you are not really for the 1st Amendment.

Biden should have sued Facebook.

Donald Trump bragged about CBS’s parent company paying him millions to settle a lawsuit

The president told correspondent Norah O’Donnell that Democratic foe Kamala Harris ā€œfailed because she couldn’t speakā€ and was not ā€œvery intelligent.ā€ He pointed to the former vice president’s interview with the CBS news show as an example.

ā€œAnd actually ā€˜60 Minutes’ paid me a lot of money,ā€ he said to O’Donnell. ā€œAnd you don’t have to put this on because I don’t want to embarrass you.ā€

ā€œBut ā€˜60 Minutes’ was forced to pay me a lot of money because they took [Harris’] answer out that was so bad,ā€ Trump continued. ā€œIt was election-changing two nights before the election and they put a new answer in and they paid me a lot of money for that. You can’t have fake news. You’ve got to have legit news.ā€

CBS said Trump’s claim that the Harris interview was deceptively edited was ā€œfalseā€ but parent company Paramount caved in a $16 million settlement with the president at a sensitive time. The payout was seen as greasing the skids for Trump’s FCC to approve the merger.

ā€œI see good things happening in the news, I really do,ā€ Trump said. ā€œAnd I think one of the best things that’s happened is this show and new ownership, CBS and new ownership. I think it’s the greatest thing that’s happened in a long time to a free and open and good press.ā€ lol

No he's not. He lost about 25% of his market. I now get a news program where Kimmel used to air (and frankly, it's a lot better too).
