There is now a de-facto settlement freeze, while Kerry puts pressure on both Netanyahu and Abbas to come to the table. But they are both playing games, and the tense situation in Syria has not improved the situation. Should the games continue, or should there be talks? How will Palestinians' lives be improved if the games go on? Discuss.

What is there to talk about? All the important issues are off the table.

If the Syria situation doesn't get resolved, Jordan's king, who is a secular moderate will soon fall. Once that regime goes and the Islamists take over, then all bets will be off. It would change the dynamics of Israeli national security and possibility of an all out regional war. Of course at the end of this rainbow may be the creation of the real Palestinian homeland, aka Jordan.
