snopes.com KFC Mutant Chickens

"Origins: Every fast food chain gets its own urban legend these days, from claims of worms in McDonald's hamburgers to roaches in Taco Bell tacos to snakes in Burger King's ball pits, we're determined to demonize corporate purveyors of cheap, industrial food products. It appears to be KFC's turn in the spotlight again (their original legend about the fried rat having become a bit long in the tooth), and they have become the proud owners of a legend intended to reflect another modern fear: genetically engineered food."

Having worked at 3 Taco Bells as a teen, I can confirm that while I never saw a roach end up in a taco, I did see flies, spit, and gunk from sweeping the floor end up in the fryer used to make taco shells and nachos and the like. And no, it wasn't me. :)

Vietnamese eat boiled rat....I never tried it but I guess it ain't bad once you get used to the idea.....

Rats, like squirrels are member of the rodent family. Squirrels are pretty tasty. Beavers are also rodents, as well as porcupines, gerbils, hamsters etc...
