From BlackFive Blog. Thanks.

Waste of effort trying to keep beaches safe militarily. Omaha beach was pretty well fortified, how'd that work out? :)

Are you so dense that you do not know what the Coast Guard does or the extreme danger they put themselves in to protect and save lives?

No link to an article.........just a picture in the OP. Gotta link?
What do you need a link for?

If you'd paid attention, you would see it came from the BlackFive blog.

How did the Coast Guard mission get expanded to picking up corpses after they jump off the Golden Gate Bridge? Nobody else wants to do it? I saw a docu about the Golden Gate suicides where local people know when there is a corpse in the water if they see Coast Guard crew wearing haz-mat suits. The Coast Guard has also become the sea going tow truck service for jerks who run out of gas on the water. I guess somebody has to do it. Actually the Coast Guard does a pretty good job protecting our coasts (particularly the Gulf of Mexico) from smugglers and illegal entry into the U.S.. Too bad the ground troops are hamstrung in the same mission.
