Lefties have short memories. Joe Kennedy was appointed ambassador to England by FDR but recalled when he seemed to support the Nazi regime. His son, JFK appointed his own brother as Attorney General to cover his ass.

FDR sent Joe Kennedy to the Court of St James to get rid of him. When Joe started palling with Ribbentrop and the Cliveden set he became a problem, especially after September 1939.

Contrary to your claim elsewhere, Bobby Kennedy was not in a position to direct the CIA or set up the Bay of Pigs.
