polygraphs are not admissible in a court setting but they hold the real potential to allow investigators a better understanding of those a polygraph is administered to.

I would generally not discount the potential value of a polygraph to most any investigation.

How about the fact that when it was administered after she went through a traumatic event, her grandmothers funeral... That in it self would have skewed the results. They got the results but not the charts or audio/video of the test. Why?
