I've never put someone on ignore on this forum...but that has changed as of this morning. This morning I went through different strings and any time I saw someone posting that Kirk "got what he deserved" I put them on ignore!

I'd like to make an appeal to everyone here. It is time to "shun" those who espouse political violence of any kind! Put them on ignore. The IM2's of the board who live for the attention? Whenever there's a high profile gun murder, they will come and defend guns to the last. I don't think it was a lone shooter. If I'm right he was an expert, part of a hit team. If I'm wrong the FBI will get the shooter.
It took a lot of planning to get roof access and an escape plan, including distracting the police.
The shot had a downward angle, which had to be compensated for, there might have been someone there checking wind speed, or to let the shooter know zero wind.

200 yards, if you have a properly sighted rifle, an amateur could hit a target with minimal training.

Like I said, that's not what makes it a professional hit. But a head shot at 200 yards is not THAT easy. Yes but an amateur wouldn't be able to get in and out undetected. That takes a pro.
