Karoline Leavitt’s Former Sister in Law released from ICE custody

She was a minor when she was brought here, but then never took any steps to get legal. . . . why??
What? Do you think DACA gave people a Green card or citizenship?

According to the video she was in the process of getting a green card, but given her cirumstances there are not easy routes for people in her position because Republicans have voted down reforms to help people that were bought here as children.

Even if she did take some neglect in getting a green card (which, so far this is no evidence for) it is still inhumae to deport someone that was bought here as a child, and has built their whole life in this country.

Exactly.

Any reasonable and honest person finding themselves in that situation would get a a lawyer and find out how to proceed so as to have the best chance to stay in the country.

There is something that the media isn't telling us. Some reason she was gone after as a specific individual at a time when ICE is raiding worksites and trying to get local law enforcement to honor ICE detainers.

January 6th was an attempt to overturn a democratic election.
**** you. No one stages a coup without weapons, no idea of the layout of the building, and taking selfies, faces unmasked while pushing baby carriages, jerk. And there was nothing democratic about the election: states lied and cheated and broke their own laws to import massive, untried, untested methods of voting that in 2005, Jimmy Carter himself said as part of a commission on election integrity just opened the floodgates for cheating! Then when the results suddenly, instantly FLIPPED for Biden at 4AM while Trump, the winner ALL NIGHT LONG, got no votes, then was slipped under the rug, people banned from asking questions or even debating it, while court after court danced around evading reviewing any proof that the election was rigged.

Then on top of it, on 2/3/21, Molly Ball ran a confession in Time Magazine where democrats BRAGGED About stealing the election, spending a year rigging it to be certain Trump lost--- all for the good of the country of course (in their opinion).

What I'm talking about is someone that was bought here as a 6 year old, grow up all their life in America, is effectively an American.
Nope, she came here as an illegal, then spent 33 years here as an illegal. She had all of her adult life to fix the problem. But I get it. Left up to me, I would allow her to at least apply for legal citizenship. She might pay a fine, but yeah, she WAS here illegally.

I'm actually surprised at the amount of resistance my post is getting. This should be one of those things that is like, 'Yeah, shit. That's not great for this person'.
She was not part of TDA or MS13, she was not robbing banks, I get that. She was brought here through no fault of her own then just assumed that since no one said anything, she was cool. But she WAS here illegally, so must go through the legal process.

Here is a link to the Jan 6th Committee report.
Worthless:
  1. The committee was caught rigging and fabricating evidence.
  2. Trump was allowed no defense.
  3. Only people with an aforementioned hate and bias against Trump were even allowed on the committee.
Like the NY rape or bank loan case, the whole thing was rigged to force a conviction and to allow no other outcome, so why should I waste my time on their fiction?

Does she look deported to you?

Imagine it: at six years old, you move to a new country with your parents, one with a different language and culture, through no fault or choice of your own. You grow up there. All your experiences, memories, friendships, and family ties are rooted in that country. Then, at age 33, while leaving your house to go pick up your kid(s) from school, you are intercepted by unmarked, masked agents, detained, and suddenly facing deportation to a country you may barely know at all. A country you might not even know the primary language of all that well.

Where is the humanity?

Ask Barack Hussein Obama, her lawyer said he put her into removal proceedings. Where was his humanity? The lawyer also said she's been trying to get a green card since she was six. Then, the lawyer says just 1 day after she applied for her green card, her removal was accelerated by Trump. She waited from age six to now to apply for a green card? Makes no sense. Then, he says she was waiting her turn. One wonders why Obama wanted her deported in the first place. Oh yeah, that's right, Obama was the 'Deporter In Chief.'

Where is the humanity?

Is it your position that every alien person should get amnesty?

There are so many loose ends here

So many unanswered questions that I cant make sense of

But as far as you go do any facts matter?

You are sad for this woman and want her to stay no matter what

Correct?

The Jan 6th Riot was just the surface of what was going on.
You should read the report that I posted. Even your own former VP basically said it on camera. Trump asked him to overturn the election.
Mike Pence:
"I want the American People to know that I had no right to overturn the election. And that on that day, President Trump asked me to put him over the constitution, but I chose the constitution, and I always will. Anyone who puts themself over the constitution should never be President of the United States, and anyone who asks someone else to put themselves over the constitution should never be President of the United States again. But what the president maintained that day, and frankly has said over and over again over the last 2.5 years, is completely false."

But you want to say that the comittee was caught rigging and fabricating evidence? where is your source? Do you have a committee member on camera saying that they rigged it? Becuase I have your own former VP (don't hang him now) saying something that correlates with what the Jan 6th Committee report is saying, but yet, you won't even read the report, and will blindly believe that it is fake. That's what happens when you treat Trump like he is a God.

Go to the chapter index of the report that I linked to and start with any chapter that you might find interesting.

Then when the results suddenly, instantly FLIPPED for Biden at 4AM while Trump, the winner ALL NIGHT LONG

My man, all that was is the blue shift. It was known that Democrats would be more likely to vote by mail than Republicans. And they had been running a campaign for how many months telling Republican voters that voting by mail was corrupt? And Trump tried to use this same tactic in the leadup to this election too. This was a known phenoemoen, that the Trump administration decided to use to try and convince their voterbase that democratic elections are no longer legitimate. They even stratagised around this, and said that they will declare victory before these mail in votes are read.
"In the weeks before election day 2020, Donald Trump’s campaign experts,
including his campaign manager Bill Stepien, advised him that the election
results would not be fully known on election night.23 This was because cer-
tain States would not begin to count absentee and other mail-in votes until
election day or after election-day polls had closed.24 Because Republican
voters tend to vote in greater numbers on election day and Democratic vot-
ers tend to vote in greater numbers in advance of election day, it was widely
anticipated that Donald Trump could initially appear to have a lead, but that
the continued counting of mail-in, absentee and other votes beginning
election night would erode and could overcome that perceived lead.25 Thus,
as President Trump’s campaign manager cautioned, understanding the
results of the 2020 election would be a lengthy “process,” and an initial
appearance of a Trump lead could be a “red mirage.” 26 This was not unique
to the 2020 election; similar scenarios had played out in prior elections as
well."

Here are some articles discussing this red mirage that were from before the 2020 election:

If it's so easy, tell us what options she had to gain a green card that could be applied to an average person that was bought to this country as a young child and raised here?

Ask Obama why he put her in removal proceedings in the first place. Didn't he know she was brought here as a child? Where was his 'humanity?' Why does Trump have to come in now, like a responsible parent, and clean up after Obama's and Biden's messes.

In other words, no relation to Leavitt other than through marriage. In other words, Trump and Homan did NOT play favorites here--- an illegal IS an illegal, even if distantly related to the Press Secretary.
Nice try.

Leavitt should be imprisoned for harboring what you guys call "vermin". Of course, she's blonde and white so you make an exception in her case.

Umm, because there have been many reforms suggested, but Republicans kept voting down ways that would create pathways for people that were bought here as children, and have grown up in the US, and are basically American, from getting a green card? DACA was criticised heavily by Republicans, and Republicans are the force that is resisting policy that would create pathways for people in these situations to getting a green card.

Better still, you should just STFU.

We already understand what was beneath the surface of J6:
  1. Dozens of FBI plants within the crowd.
  2. Pipe Bombers and other antagonists there that day whom the FBI went out of its way to ignore.
  3. Nancy Pelosi obstructing proper security there that day.
  4. Capitol police who threw grenades into the crowd to get them riled up.
  5. A crooked and corrupt J6 panel designed to convict Trump just to keep him out of office.

Conspiracy theories vs accepting what your own former VP said? Do you believe that my quote from Mike Pence is real?

Do you accept that there were false slates of electors that tried to submit false unofficial pro trump electoral votes from states that Biden had actually won?

Do you realize that the FBI was Trump's FBI, as he was President at that time? Maybe you are the one that should STFU.

How about you just read the Jan 6th Committee report?

No, there could easily be policy that could be introduced that create pathways for people in this sort of situation. This is what the DREAM ACT is about. But it has failed in the past because republicans voted against it. Facts matter, and there are not that many loose ends here.

What about those that can't afford a lawyer? Or for whatever reason didn't?

What if you found out today that you were in this situation, and you got a lawyer, and they said there is no clear pathway for you? Would you self deport yourself to a country that you've never been to and has a different language and culture? Would you think it is fair or reasonable that you had to leave this country despite being as American as anyone else?

The 2nd veteran in that video I posted was a Trump supporter, btw.

I have no doubt she thought she was fine till Trump was elected and said he was going to crack down. If she had moved sooner, she would not now be in the position she is in.
Even if she did take some neglect in getting a green card (which, so far this is no evidence for) it is still inhumae to deport someone that was bought here as a child, and has built their whole life in this country.

It is not inhumane to enforce the nation's laws. If folks don't like those laws, change them.

What pathways did she have to move?

It seems like she was going down some route, but it's hard to know what that was. Was it based off her sister's citizenship? Because that can take a very long time, if so. But really, what pathways did she have? You guys keep saying that she should have moved sooner, but you aren't saying exactly how?

Folks have tried to change those laws, but Republicans keep voting them down. This is basic humanity we are talking about here, and Trump did say he would not go after people like her (Dreamers). To be clear, it's not like she was picked up after committing a crime. She was activitely sought out by ICE and arrested.
