I've noticed that, since Day One, ANYONE in Trump's orbit has done THE SAME TWO THINGS when speaking in public:

1. When asked a tough question, they immediately pivot and go after the interviewer personally
2. Otherwise, their first response to anything is essentially to launch into a hyperpartisan stump speech, using Trump's name frequently and glowingly

There is NO WAY that is a coincidence. Zero. In Leavitt's case, she expands it into something just this side of breathless religious idolatry.

But this is what the base wants, it's what it believes, so that's what it gets.

Actually her wardrobe comes exclusively from her money she earns....
She wears it well even if it is "off the rack" clothing that costs a fraction of what the last several press secretaries have worn. Because where her husband offered to set her up with a wardrobe specialist and open line of credit for her wardrobe needs....she refused because she wanted to be "one of the average people " and did not want even the appearance of being a gold digger. Because apparently she really loves her husband.

She also is proud of the things that Trump is doing.

She doesn't just "has a glam job" to propel herself into bigger roles more lucrative than this one....she believes in the job she has.

Let's be fair, the GOP press secretaries have it easy. They just have to tell it like it is. OTOH, the democrap press secretaries have to do an awful lot of mental gymnastics to spin all that nefarious stuff into a positive message. Imagine running cover for Joe Biden.
