That will be their claim, but I find it hard to believe that his life was in danger under a tent at a high school track meet. I am sure they exchanged words and the guy that was stabbed probably tried to push him out of the team’s tent. Pulling out a knife and killing the guy was a massive, illegal, overreaction. Also, who carries a knife around in his track suit at a meet. I ran track for many years and I never knew anyone that did that. It sure looks like he was looking for trouble.

My guess is the judge reduced his bond out of sympathy. The kid was a good student and messed up his life. That is sad, but it doesn’t excuse what he did.

White Kyle made bail after two months of misery in jail. It was $2 million.

He shouldn't have gotten bail at all, but once Wisconsin had him, they only had him for 20 days.

So the real question is, why did IL take so long to extradite him.

Well, he only stabbed one kid. Kyle shot three people with a semi-automatic weapon and kind of came off like a lunatic.

We really need to stop leftist prosecutors from assigning bail requirements depending on the color of the killer.

Well, you are in luck. Here in IL, we eliminated all cash bail. So either someone is too dangerous to let out on the street, or they are innocent until proven guilty.

You are ignoring America’s comparatively much shorter history of Slavery in view of other Nations’ history with slavery. Why is fighting a war over slavery relevant? The “some places have practices that are close to it” are places that are dominated by non-whites.

A man in Florida successfully claimed self defense after he got into an argument with a guy over his use of a cell phone. The guy threw popcorn at him so he shot him.

It could be self defense.

Unlikely. But regardless, the same would have applied to Kyle and he was held in deplorable conditions in jail on a $2 million bond. And as it turned out, it WAS self-defense.

So why wasn’t the black killer? His victim had no weapon, so self-defense is unlikely. It just so happens that there are different standards for blacks - even when viciously bludgeoning an unarmed teen to death.

What you SHOULD be questioning is why a white who kills someone who is about to shoot him gets a $2 million bond, and suffers for months in jail - and a black who stabs an unarmed teen gets out on reduced bond.
