It's customary to believe that these seemingly random killers, like the Idaho shooter and you can throw in hundreds of teen age carjackers from 12 to 20 years old, are all victims of this or that but the truth is more subtle than that. They are too young and mostly well cared for to have experienced the so called trauma that may drive them to stick it to society. Drugs, social media, and peer pressure I think shape their fantasy lives more than real life, they just are playing out social warrior and have no contact with the real world. We also try to make excuses for them and that isn't good for anyone.
