The Nike ad, with Colin Kapernick's picture, says "Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything." This is laughable. Sacrificing everything ? But Kapernick isn't doing that. That is something that US military men and women do. The ones who Kapernick disrespects, every time he kneels during the national anthem.

And sacrificing arms and legs lost in combat, is much more "sacrificing" than Kapernick's lost 2 years from NFL play, by teams who want to have nothing to do with him. This spoiled brat, loudmouth punk/fool has a net worth of millions of dollars. He doesn't need to play football, or do any job. He is set for life, and could easily live comfortably on his investments. Topping it all off, he doesn't even know what he's protesting about.

Police brutality ? The level of this, is near zero in all of US law enforcement, and no greater among blacks than anyone else. Kapernick is nothing but a gullible dupe of Obama/Sharpton/Jackson race fear-mongering, peddled to gin up votes for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

As for oppression which Kapernick claims (injustice & inequality), yes there is plenty of that. But the oppression is upon WHITES, not blacks. The inequality that gives racial preference in job hiring, job promotions, college admissions, college financial aid, business loans, etc, victimizes whites, not blacks.

Pretty amazing to see somebody among the group of beneficiaries of all this Affirmative Action inequality, going around crabbing, and claiming himself to be the victim. Maybe somebody needs to sit down with Colin, and explain a few things to him.

Kap is a punk looking for publicity. A so so football player at best.

He did sacrifice his career. No denying that, but that just makes him stupid. There were a million different ways, he could have protested, but he chose a way that pissed people off. When he found out that it was pissing people off, he could have changed his tactics, but he didnt. He wanted to piss people off. So did all those who started doing it with him. That means they are all stupid trolls who deserve no ones respect.

Let’s not forget what that idiot truly is:

Republicans who fell all over themselves giving Kaepernick publicity, now complain that all he wanted was publicity

He's trying to turn his bad playing into a sacrifice. He wants to peddle the idea that he was blackballed.

If people like those from the Nike company are still willing to give him the time a day, how much was actually sacrificed?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

I find it interesting that right wingers think the that Kapernick is is offending the military. But they had no problem and actually laughed when their orange leader made jokes about POWs.

Kapernick was blackballed. There are football players who killed dogs, beat their wives and raped women. Yet, they still have successfully careers in the NFL.

Kapernick exercise his freedom of speech and protest, and his career is over? All because he wouldn't stand during a song?

Has it ever crossed your mind that those other players are better at football?

Kaepernick is a lousy QB. He does not warrant the circus that would surely follow wherever he goes. Simple as that.

You're right. All of the above should have been blackballed.

So because they are good at football they should be allowed to kill dogs and abuse women?

No they should be shot on sight. But it should make you understand that being a good player entitles that player to certain unearned privileges. Poor Colin Cancer is not a good player. He sacrificed nothing because he had nothing to give up. His career is over because he is a poorly performing player trying to finagle being blackballed to make himself feel better.
