They not only use phrases like 'pay their fair share' but also use deceptive phrases like 'middle-class workers pay higher tax rates than billionaires' or 'middle-class workers pay more income taxes than billionaires.' Naturally, I'd say a clear majority of Americans aren't informed enough to know why.

I think we should all beware of a Kamala victory coupled with keeping their Senate majority and taking back the House. With Sinema and Manchin gone, they might have the necessary 51 votes to abolish the filibuster in the Senate. And if that happens, IMHO this country is irretrievably fucked 6 ways from Sunday. Raising taxes hurts new and expanding businesses and that means fewer jobs. Plus existing businesses that can't make enough profit and downsize, move elsewhere, and just close up shop. The democrats make political points by the 'pay their fair share' crap but never say how much is enough for a 'fair share', and that is dishonest. In their efforts to win elections, democrats demonize the rich and big biz but in so doing hurt everybody else in the process. All they're really doing is making it more attractive to move their money offshore.

Getting rid of the filibuster would lead to a more extremeist government so yeah, I’m against it; bigly.
