Actually, not a bad move by Kamala! Not towards being elected President (since most of America is too smart to ever support something as stupid as what she's proposing!) but it'll make her a local heroine in liberal California! She can tell them that she's a CHAMPION of black people by pointing to her housing plan (something that she knows only too well would never be passed!) and telling them that she's THERE for them! All smoke and mirrors of course but it'll sell in her district!

Controversial racist Democrat 2020 candidate Kamala Harris would cause another Democrat Great Recession with her mortgage plan. Harris proposes a $100 billion plan for black homeownership. Harris’s plan would provide down payment and closing cost assistance of up to $25,000 to people renting or living in historically red-lined communities, would help some 4 million home-buyers.

Race based legislation and spending are unconstitutional.

This is what caused the Great Recession. The Democrats lowered the mortgage lending standards in the early 90s which caused the real estate bubble and when those loans went bad the Democrats who run Freddie Mac and Freddie Mae bought-up those bad loans and sold them to Wall Street and paid themselves huge commissions. Then they stuck the taxpayers with the bill and blamed it on President Bush.

Last time we pushed homeownership for low-income buyers....how'd that work out?

Major Cities across the country already GIVE Billions out to low income black families. (And some Hispanic families. RARE that white families get into these programs.
EVERY major US city that is Democrat held has programs where they build brand new gated subdivsions, many with fabulous modern kitchens, walk in double showers, granite counter tops and garages for blacks making low wages or with too many children to support.

These cities give these programs cutesy names like "Community Development" programs.
Pompano Beach Florida and Fort Lauderdale Florida spend tens of millions in taxpayer dollars to do this every year.

In nearly EVERY case, within a few years the free, top of the line expensive appliances are gone the places are so trashed they are condemned shit holes, and so the City will demolish or do another multi million reconstruction and repeat the cycle....over and over and over and over.

These places start out more luxurious than most people working 9 to 5 can afford. And nearly always end up as meth infested ghettos in no time.

The taxpayers are forced to repeatedly foot the bills.

Now Kamala Harris wants to up the ante? I swear if this doesn't eventually lead to Civil war it will instead lead to poverty and suffering for ALL.

Indianapolis has a substantial problem in this area.
Several years back apartment complexes were, by law, forced to accept Section 8 in a percentage of their units for complexes that had a certain number of units or higher.
That was about 10 years ago.
Four things happened...
1) When the bums moved in, all the apartments around them moved out...and were filled with more bums. Whole complexes turned to trash.
2) Real Estate developers skirted the law by building complexes with fewer units than the law stated. These are popping up all over the city.
3) Crime went up in areas of the city that did not have it before.
4) Crime in Indianapolis has been on a steady rise as other cities have fallen.
