Do you know what impeachment is? Do you know how it works? What are the procedures?

Speaker Pelosi does not have to hold a vote to open an impeachment inquiry. The House Intelligence committee will draw up articles of impeachment. Do you understand what that is? It's like an indictment from a grand jury. Do you understand those terms?

After thenarticles of impeachment arempresented to the Speaker of the ahouse, a vote of the full House will take place. A simple majority is required to vote yes on the articles. Then those articles (indictments) are presented to the Senate for trial. That trial will be presided by the Chief Justice.
