Jokes aside I have a few friends in the BP (there's a K9 training facility in my AO) and one told me when he worked the Montana border at night about the only guy from Canada he would see was a guy delivering newspapers. He would deliver them on both sides of the border and never did use a "official" crossing.

I don't suspect it will mean anything to you but the BP guys stationed on our southern border told me that a secure border wall (when they had one) worked and worked well.
