But he wants to lower builders' costs via favorable taxes as well as eliminating unnecessary regulation so that home costs can come down. Give him a Republican congress who does things that help people instead of trying to buy favor and votes, and he'll get it done constructively. The President has no authority at all to set the tax code. It has to be Congress. But the GOP is on board with it so they say.
