The problem is that that decision affects the life of another human. The doctor doesn't give you financial advice, only medical advice. What would a medical doctor have to do with a decision you make that doesn't necessarily affect your health, just your finances or your way of life. In that case, you need a counselor, not a doctor. Many, if not most, abortions have nothing to do with the baby or the mother's health. They are done out of convivence. There is no reasonable excuse for a late term abortion other than the mother or baby's health.
