Just Over Half of Young Self-Identified Liberals Think Political Violence is Unacceptable

You have no idea that when you spoke of cops, you were speaking of Congress's Capitol Police force that only answer to congress.

You have no idea that Jurisdiction is established because congress and the president are different branches of government.

Congress has it's own police force, the Capitol and the grounds is policed by congress and nobody else

It was not cops! It is the Capitol Police
SO? in case of ATTACK on a federal government building how does that prevent the President from calling out the National Guard ?

????
The executive branch cant order the national guard into the legislative branch jurisdiction.
Sure they can. Its part of the US....
It is the law. You do want to talk about the law, correct?
Uh no.

What I want to talk about is how 140 cops are assaulted and their assaulters are pardoned as if they did nothing wrong.

I'd like to know how you feel about that but you don't seem to want to even acknowledge it.

thats nothing compared to the ten yrs of riots that resulted in dozens murders from leftwing rioters that caused billions in damage,,

and lets not forget may 29th where leftist attacked the whitehouse and caused dozens of law enforcement injuries

Did they get pardoned?

Folks who think like you who assaulted 140 cops did. Do you think that was right of your blob to do that?

Did they ask those 85% about Trump's pardoning of 1/6 insurrectionists? Lots of political violence in mass scale on that day. The right wing seems very much able to excuse political violence when it suits their needs; just like the yahoo's on the left.
You are the party of violence. It's painfully obvious, you are bothsidesism no longer works

A federal building or the Capitol building and the Capitol grounds? It all depends on jurisdiction which is defined by law.

The president can not order the national guard into Congress's jurisdiction, that would be akin to an insurrection.

This link is to the map that draws the lines defining jurisdiction.

Most Americans say it's unacceptable to be happy about public figures' deaths, but younger and more liberal Americans are more likely to call it acceptable. Contrast that with 85% of young conservatives saying it's unacceptable. This isn't surprising to me seeing the number of Gen Z aged leftists celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk on social media, but it's a serious problem that needs to be addressed. How has this group in particular become so desensitized to the idea that it's okay to murder people with differing viewpoints?

Only 54% of younger liberals say political violence is never justified, whereas 75% of young conservatives agree with that statement.

It’s the same group that thinks calling an obvious male dressed like a woman sir is violence. Participating deserves a trophy and safe spaces are actually a thing that can shield you from reality.

I wouldn't acknowledge it without seeing their medical charts or examining them
myself which would include an interview and exam (to wit, a real history and physical)

Jan. 6 -----as demonstrations go------was just about one of the most non-violent large events
except for the shooting of Ashli Other than that, I have seen BLACK FRIDAY department
store sales more violent

How many police officers were injured that day?

15th post
Or I been convicted of assault but not assault and battery hence I know.
"I been convicted"?

I think you're losing it. What the hell are you talking about?

Anyway..

David Dempsey was sentenced to 20 years for assaulting cops with metal crutches and pepper spray. Your blob pardoned him.

Thus proving that to Trump and those who still support that turd...political violence is not only okay...its encouraged because pardoning someone so violent of course invites more assaults down the line.
