You obviously don't know how the ER works.

The illegal gets the same $6000 bill; they just don't ever pay it. Neither do most poor Americans.

The reason why medical costs are so high is that Hospitals jack up the cost on the paying customers to cover what they are losing in mandatory ER Services.

For instance, when I was in for my knee surgery, they gave me some liquid Tylenol and charged me $50.00 for it.
