When a whistleblower's allegations have been shown to be spurious, when he goes to the Democrats for help and support, when his lawyer is an avowed anti-Trumper, then it might be just to find out who he/she is and what the motivations might be. That program is not in place to allow politically motivated activists the opportunity to damage the opposition without consequence.
