Trump loves hyperbole, everything seems to be beautiful, a disaster, terrible, etc. but he is very short on substance. Much of which he promises cannot be done by fiat, something everyone of us who passed a HS civics class and/or has read COTUS understands.

Trump also seems to have never considered the consequences of some of his promises, and more importantly vetted them with experts; and even experts can't always see unintended consequences. Impulsive action does not make a leader or a nation great, nor does a dogmatic approach. We have seen how holding fast to dogma has impacted the Congress, it has done nothing big since McConnell and Boehner, now Ryan, have controlled the agenda.

If Trump can build our infrastructure, and can get the Congress to fund a trillion dollar or more effort to bring our nation into the 21st Century, he can be successful; but given the names bandied about for his cabinet, I have little hope that cronyism is a good start to a successful outcome.

It certainly appears that Wall Street has a lot of confidence that Trump will do a lot for business, individuals, and the economy. The Stock Market is at an all time high.
