Politically I lean a bit left of center, which pretty much marks me as a radical socialist around this message board. I'm not into modern music, but I made it all the way through the video.

Here's what I thought about the song:

First and foremost it had a message. Took me back to 1968 when we had anti-war songs and then a few years later the environment became a topic. I never cared for those wrap yourself in the flag country tunes but this one was very good in articulating issues. I don't need to agree with all the sentiments expressed to appreciate that it kept my interest throughout.

Secondly, just my general impression of current music over these recent years: does anybody know how to play an instrument these days?
