I don't hate that illegals get food, shelter, or healthcare. I hate that they are illegals. I have some grace for people who entered legally but haven't officially extended or adjusted their status in time because the INS is notoriously bad at organizing and processing applications. The sneak across the border in the middle of the night people need to be taken back across the border in the light of the day though.

It’s possible provided that the American taxpayers are placed on the hook for paying all such additional costs. (Or that the government simply “prints” more money devaluing our currency even further.)

The U.S. already has the most generous legal immigration policy on Earth. Even so, we are not only allowed to put such limits on the influx as we deem proper, but we have a practical need to do so.

I don’t hate that. Illegals should be deported and instructed on the legal pathways established for entering the United States. They are then free to accept any charity voluntarily given to them by others. They should not have access to the taxpayer funded social safety net when they are here illegally.

I've never heard any opponent of illegal immigration say that illegal immigrants should be deported AND never allowed to get healthcare, food and shelter in their home country.

The question you should ask is:

Because it rewards sustained lawbreakers for their ongoing crime. Illegal immigrants did not just break the law one time as they crossed the border. First off is a number of illegals go to emergency rooms for health care then never pay the bill. The person that pays the hospital pays a part of this unpaid bill in higher prices. They are also clogging up the emergency rooms.
Second some are housed in motels and hotels. Why are Americans paying for that rather than paying to house Americans that are living on the streets?
There are those that are attempting to come here legally why should someone who comes here breaking the law get help or special treatment?
If they are here illegally then they may not be paying taxes or if they are they may be doing it under a stolen tax number. A stolen tax number is another illegal act. If they are hired at the same rate as an American the person hiring them is actually getting cheap labor as no social security taxes are being paid, no Medicare taxes are being paid, no worker’s compensation is being paid. Chances are though they are being paid less the an American would be paid, so in effect you are getting a wage slave. Someone that works for you at less then it would cost for an American worker so in essence you are perpetuating slavery. Some feel that kind of thing is necessary and a part of being superior.
Some feel that laws are flexable and only some should be enforced. Usually it is ones that they do not break.
Then we have those that are here illegally because they have broken laws in their own country. They come here to escape the authorities in their own countries. Plus they hear that you can do things like stab someone and just walk away with at most a slap on the wrist.

To address the topic without factoring in the meme:

The shutdown is the brainchild of three New York politicians, Schumer, Accosio-Cortez, and Jeffries. Neither "Elizabeth" nor anyone else besides those three, has any say in it. We MAGA did not shut down the government. Our role in the shutdown was to fairly and democratically pass a law that those three New Yorkers hated so much that they are throwing a thirteen-day (so far) tantrum over it.

It is worth it to not capitulate to their demands for taxfunded healthcare for illegals, half a billion dollars for PBS, and the rest of the 1.5 Trillion dollars in pork? For a seven week extension?

Yes, it is worth it. Because their demands are much more expensive than the costs associated with the shutdown, and because there is the principle that once the people have spoken, you don't let overgrown kids who are having a squabble over childish things run the family.
