With SNAP benefits in jeopardy, if you are able why not contribute to your local food bank? That's an idea transcending politics. Namely, people gotta eat.

It's a good idea to contact the individual organization and ask if they prefer food or cash. Many of them can buy exactly what they figure they need, and get it at bulk prices.

Getting hungry, are you?

I volunteered at the FB of the Rockies for years and I can say they prefer $ for exactly the reason you mentioned.

Something tells me you are looking to weaponize responses from those you don’t agree with.

Or maybe you are projecting. The idea of helping those people who are about federal food assistance is very good idea. Before I retired, I would for the St. Anthony Foundation, SAF a free clinic, drug and alcohol rehab, a clothing and furniture program and a Women's Shelter, I started in the shelter and eventually working Donor Services. Why would YOU even write something like that. What the **** is so ******* wrong about helping others?

Told ya it would be used.

Everything Berg posts is to divide.

Thanks for proving it.

That is where charity is supposed to come from---the private sector. Nothing in the constitution says anything about SNAP/WIC/Welfare. Forcing taxpayers to provide charity through taxes is unconstitutional.

YOU could not be more wrong. I stated quite clearly that I spent a life of service to others, your question is typical of conservatives who only care for themselves. YOU did not answer my question, why did you post such a statement.

Who said it was wrong to help others, Major Virtue Signaler?

I'll tell you again. Berg uses it as a setup. You then use it as a virtue signaling opportunity to try and show your moral superiority while casataging others and all Conservatives without knowing anything about their charity.

The thread was used exactly as intended and as I said it would be.
