Judge Merchan Slaps Down Trump's Immunity Argument.

For the Supreme court to even look at this case they would have to acknowledge that paying off a porn star to silence her when Trump was a private citizen was part of his official duties as President.

Think that’s likely?
First, all porn so called stars demand payment. It is why they do porn. Second, she extorted Trump for him to pay her additional money. She is guilty of a crime, not Trump.

If the courts say a president is not immune to decisions he makes as commander and chief the balance of power will shift to congress over the executive branch and over the judicial as well... The supreme court will recognize this.... this biased judge is only going for news headlines....
The immunity doesn’t extend to actions that are not a part of his official duties.

Stop using the truth....it gives MAGA a headache.
Truth is she is a prostitute. They always demand money. They do not promise to extort customers. She is guilty of extortion. She extorted a crummy lawyer.

He’s a fully corrupted and paid for Democrat bitch.

Did you even read the post, or did you decide to start throwing useless words about. There is no immunity claim. This was another hail mary attempt to delay the trial.

I thought Smith claims his case is about records??? Do you mean it is about consensual sex?

Like I said you have no proof. Empty words that mean nothing. You throw them around, but when it comes to documented proof you just what bullshis sticks to the wall. You have nothing. You know nothing.

Thank you for playing I am a proud MAGA MAGGOT LIAR!
You sound butt f’d.. 🥱

That immunity case has nothing to do with the hush money case

It is an immunity argument. This isn't difficult.

And a state judge DOES NOT get to determine immunity of a President, current or former.

Judge Juan Merchan was heaped with praise after he slapped down former President Donald Trump's presidential immunity plea claim in his criminal hush money case.

Merchan's ruling Wednesday denies Trump's request to delay the New York City criminal trial until after the Supreme Court rules on the presidential immunity argument in special counsel Jack Smith's federal election interference case, a request that baffled George Conway.

"Let’s just pause for a moment to dilate on the inanity of this motion, even apart from its untimeliness," the conservative attorney wrote in response to Merchan's ruling.
It was a good, sane decision.
How could Trump be "immune" for screwing a porn star/hooker while his wife was pregnant with his son, and then directing his fixer/attorney to conceal the hush money payment from voters in violation of campaign disclosure laws?
Not EVEN CLOSE to being within the scope of any "presidential duties" for which any normal POTUS might need immunuty.

Hmm.....
Kinda odd that his attorneys petitioned this state judge for immunity then isn't it?
You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Was paying off Stephanie Clifford ("Stormy Daniels") part of P01135809's official duties? Bearing in mind that the time P01135809 was NOT president. He was at time and is now a private citizen. There can be no claim of immunity if at the time he was a private citizen. His payment to Daniels was to prevent her from talking about his affair with her while Melania was pregnant with Baron. P01135809 was NOT president at that time.

In New York State, it is illegal to make hush money payments and try to pass them off a business or tax expense. That is what this trial is about.

It's about both. He committed fraud when he claimed his payments to his lawyer Michael Cohen were for legal expenses when they were actually reimbursements for Cohen paying off Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about Trump paying for sex.

Yep.
And now we know that his 2016 "victory" over Clinton was even more illigitimate than we already know from The Mueller Report.
He paid $130,000 to keep information hidden from voters that likely would have cost him the election.
FAKE POTUS all along!

You think it’s about granting Trump immunity for anything past present or future?

Are you that stupid?
