The conventional wisdom is that Trump's team et al. will drown the court in motions..not so fast says Judge!

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan denied six motions on Tuesday in the federal elections case against former President Donald Trump.
A day after setting Trump's trial date for March 4, Chutkan wasted no time shooting down the six motions.
At least one document was described as a brief "in support of Donald Trump."
Other motions denied were from the Galaxy Bar Association, "D.A. Feliciano," and Victor Shorkin. It was not immediately clear which side those motions supported. A Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus was also denied.

Chutkan has set a brisk trial schedule, with pre-trial motions due by October 9. Trump's team had asked for a 2026 trial date.

Cool... it makes the appeals much easier to win. No one with an IQ number above room temp, fails to see this is all designed for election interference. The only hope they have to succeed will be if SCOTUS refuses to do their duty and rule on this thuggish behavior. Low-life scum on the Left knows they cannot win and they're in full hysteria-mode...

Denying motions will move a trial along alright. That judge is a badass

No bias there eh? impartial judge eh? Assumed innocent until proven guilty eh? You know this is a Kangaroo 3rd rate banana republic court here. Every defendant is allowed their due process and a chance to defend themselves .... this is one man against an entire government who goes after his attorneys.... gives his legal team a million documents they have to page through .... and then piles on indictment after indictment... its all about destroying a person. Hasn't changed since 2016.

12 million documents for discovery. :rolleyes-41:

This thing is beyond farcical. That should be a mistrial right there.

A) That the judge allowed that.

B) That there's no way it takes all 12 million documents to make the prosecutor's case. This is just

swamping the defense unethically. They should be disbarred.

I'm no lawyer, but that is some outrageous BS.

That just means there was a lot of ish going on, deal with it.

I do love the blatant double standards. If a Black Guy is accused as a murderer. Fast trial and fast execution. No appeals. Just execute him. We are supposed to know he’s guilty based upon the color of his skin.

If trump is accused of anything. Ten years of appeals before the trial is a minimum. That is if you can’t claim that everyone does it, with anything approaching a modicum of honesty.

When there's 2 or more identifying him as the one, yes. Not because of the color of skin, but because he did it.

Something tells me there haven't been 12 million+ documents to go through for discovery ever before in America for any case ever.

Idjit.

You're completely missing the point.
