You understand the fact that our court system operates under what is called "reciprocal discovery". BOTH side have to submit to the court all evidence, witnesses, and subject of testimony to be presented.

If he is going to claim in court that he declassified all the documents prior to leaving office he's going to have to provide dates, times, locations, and method of declassification to the prosecution.

Some people think the courts operate under an "ambush" system because they watch to many TV shows.

The library does not retain or possess the Presidential records, they are owned by, remain the property of the US Government, and are physically managed within the Presidential Library by the NARA.

Not really, FPOTUS#45 never setup a Presidential Library Foundation. It's not the job of the NARA to setup the foundation, but they do work with them once they are created.

In reality, Trump doesn't know or remember and has no actual list of the classified materials he stole, some of which he is apparently still hiding or has destroyed.

So any list he made would leave out some of the materials, basically cementing the idea that he stole the rest of the materials not on his list.

Same as the archivists, controlled Obama and his documents, they controlled the Trump documents. You have not proven any different.

Former President Trump was absolutely not asked for classified documents back former President Trump was asked for documents with classified markings. If you don’t know the difference, let me know, and I’ll be happy to explain.

Oh silly one, Obama turned ALL OF HIS PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS over to the National Archives when he left office.... As REQUIRED under the LAW.

He didn't take any classified records with him, he took no presidential records with him, as Trump did.

So why in the world would the Archives ever need to ask Obama to return them?

Unlike Trump, Obama never took them with him when he left.

The archives had all of Obama Presidential records and the archivists when organizing the Obama records in preparation for FOIA REQUESTS and a president's library, they sort out classified records from non classified and separate them.

Once separated, the Archives held Obama classified records in a facility in D.C., and Obama non classified records in a facility in Chicago.
