Sen. Josh Hawley Launches Investigation Into Coordinated Unrest Targeting ICE — Demands Records from Pro-Immigration Group, Threatens Criminal Referral for Noncompliance | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has launched an explosive investigation into the growing chaos engulfing Los Angeles and other Democrat-run cities.
As Chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism, Hawley is demanding accountability from the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), a left-wing pro-illegal immigration group that has come under fire for allegedly funding and facilitating violent anti-ICE protests that have spiraled into riots.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that according to a damning exposé by investigative account @DataRepublican, several nonprofit organizations and shadowy political fronts played a pivotal role in igniting the chaos that saw federal officers attacked, flags burned, and city streets blocked.
But what’s more alarming: tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money may have indirectly fueled the unrest.
At the center of the funding web is CHIRLA—the Coalition for Humane Immigration Rights. Documents reveal the group saw a shocking jump from $12 million to $34 million in government grants in just one year.

Hawley accuses CHIRLA of providing financial and logistical support for mob-style unrest, stating plainly: “Bankrolling civil unrest is not protected speech. It is aiding and abetting criminal conduct.”
The Senator is demanding the preservation and production of a sweeping range of records from CHIRLA, including:
- All internal communications, including emails, text messages, chat logs, and messaging applications, relating to protest planning, coordination, or funding.
- All financial documents related to protests, demonstrations, or mobilization efforts in Los Angeles or elsewhere relating to immigration enforcement.
- All third-party contracts or vendor agreements, including any arrangements with event organizers, transportation providers, security personnel, or communications consultants relating to immigration enforcement or the Los Angeles protests, or similar protests elsewhere.
- Grant applications and funding proposals that relate to or reference immigration enforcement.
- Travel and lodging records for individuals or groups supported or reimbursed in connection with protest activities.
- Media or public relations strategies, including talking points, press releases, and coordination with journalists or influencers relating to immigration protests.
- Donor lists.
Commentary:
Congress funds these groups, then argues the groups are the problem. (Ahem!) Do your jobs you useless body of contradictory acts.
All Congress approved NGO's funding those sub humans, should have their funding revoked and tax exempt status stripped, audited and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for aiding sedition and insurrection.
Unfortunately, many the gutless, limp-wristed RINO's are beyond worthless. The Democrat Party changes existing law or completely make up new laws to arrest and persecute conservatives, and these pansies in return do nothing but provide vacuous, meaningless “threats” that go no where.
This isn't something that just began, It started with #OWS, Antifa and BLM.
We knew then that NGO's were funding, transporting, supplying and hiring these anarchist gangs. Nothing was done then and more than likely nothing will be done now other than making noise.
We already know that USAID funded some of the rioting. what other agencies and NGO's are involved.
Will Hawley get to the bottom I hope so, but I'm doubtful...
