Not according to Barr. Barr said he'll bring charges right up until the election. Since Barr is behaving in a completely rogue manner as AG and operating as Trump's private attorney, it is highly possible that Barr would attempt to file bogus charges right before the election.

Dead accurate, except for the prediction of prison. Barr is indeed a jerk, but he does know the law enough to bend it to the point that if charged he is sure he can create reasonable doubt. He does not have to be actually innocent to stay out of prison, just be able to create reasonable doubt inside his guilt and he walks. Right or wrong, it is how the system works.
