Haven't seen it, but it looks good.

Making history come alive is often fraught with pitfalls, (for oe thing they're makig up most of the dialogue) but I think that turning people on to the fact that these people were living people facing real problems makes forgiving whatever mistakes and liberties that the creators might have made forgiveable.

I liked it very much, and, going in, I thought it was a seven part series about the history beer making in America...

I agree. "The Adams Chronicles" by Jack Sheperd is better than McCullough's book though. And that is saying a lot.

Here is a short clip from the series. The clip depicts John as having made this entire speech at once before the Congress. That did not actually happen. Part of his speech was actually made at two different times. Most of what is said by John, is fairly accurate. There are a few words that were added for the series. The series is well over 95% accurate, in my opinion.
