joe Burrow should be mvp of the NFL

Last year, Lamar Jackson was the least impressive MVP, numbers and accomplishment-wise, in the past 15 years. He shouldn't have won it last year, he doesn't thus far deserve to win it this year. He's got very impressive numbers, he's a top 3 QB. But he feeds off either the best or 2nd best running back in the league, and the Ravens aren't elite. That's one of the standards that has been established. You can have your discussion on what an MVP is, I'm just referring to how the MVP has been applied. There are still 3 games left for each team, there's time for people to prove themselves.. But last year, Jackson was a DEI MVP if you ask me.
interesting paradox. LJ has all the talent in the world around him, and burrow's just got back chase just recently

My nephew told me Eric Dickerson had 2 more games than OJ. So this new guy has 3 more games than OJ to break the record? OJ is still the king if you ask me.
that is true and your point is a fair one but if you think about how the game has changed from when OJ was in the league to now with the focus moving toward throwing the ball so much more as well as using more than a single back, it's still very impressive to get the number of yds Barkley has gotten. The leading rusher last year had 1400 yds. OJ averaged 6.03 ypc and Barkley is currently averaging 5.8. It's pretty close. Also the level of play is far higher today than it was in 73.

Chase has played all 16 games. Higgens has been injured this season I think is that who you mean?

I heard this morning that OJ had more yards per carry than Dickerson even though Dickerson played more games. Or Barkley has more yards per carry than Eric.

So I guess 1 more game doesn't mean everything. I would say times you were handed the ball matter more.
