Joe Biden pardons felons on his last day.

Talk about hypocrisy......

Tell us about Trump and His venture in the court of public opinion.

You changed your avatar I see.........I like helo's.............................did you eat your cat?
It's less hypocritical when you're a rational human being who can absorb information.

You're a class act.

Chastise the right for judging the guilty preemptive pardon clowns...
You guys already convicted them in your cloistered court of right wing opinion so these pardons make no difference.
So it's not being hypocritical to judge Trump in the same manner?

Oh now it doesn’t matter. Keep digging Joey.

Never did matter. That was the point. I didn't care what Schumer or Schiff had to say on the matter, the fact is, preemptive pardons have been a thing since Ford Pardoned Nixon.

What is crazy is someone who goes after family members of their political opponents, which is what Trump did and was threatening to do again.

I need better competition.
Actually, what you need is some human decency and a life.

Nixon was guilty. So he was pardoned. You made my point. Too easy.

An overt Jew hater is talking to me about decency

lol

Nixon was never tried in a court of law. I doubt they could have ever gotten a conviction because 60% of the country voted for him in 1972, and he won 49 states. (That's what a landslide actually looks like, because you seem confused on that point.) There were guys like my Dad, who firmly believed that Nixon didn't do anything that all the other presidents did, he just got caught.

Ford's position on pardoning him was that after Nixon resigned, putting him on trial, even if he prevailed, would just continue to throw salt into the wounds of a divided country. And he did this knowing it would probably cost him re-election in 1976.

If you are hated, it's your own damned fault.

He was guilty and hence he resigned and had to be pardoned. Your antisemitism is amusing.

I'm glad you are amused. Self-reflection would be better for you, but hey, as long as you are amused.

Nixon said he resigned because he felt the process of impeachment would create opportunities for the USSR to cause some kind of trouble. His decision to resign was a political one, not a civil one. At least from his viewpoint.

Given what we saw with Clinton and Trump's two impeachments, I kind of wonder if Nixon could have toughed out impeachment.

The Democrats would have needed Seven Republicans to go along with impeachment.

Except he was guilty. The whole Watergate hotel. “I am Not a crook”!

You are a hypocrite. That’s all there is to it.

Changes the subject again.................this time from the Ford pardon of Nixon, to Nixon resigning..........two different topics.

Loser

Except a court never found him guilty.

Congress never found him guilty.

Unlike Trump, he was never even impeached.

He resigned, he said, for the good of the country so the USSR wouldn't take advantage.

So you can whine about me all day, but the reality is, Nixon was still innocent in the eyes of the law, and received a pre-emptive pardon.

Again, your inability to process information is sad, but there's not much I can do for you.

Nixon resigned for the reasons he stated, not that he didn't think he could tough it out in an impeachment (the Democrats didn't have 67 votes to convict) but because the chaos it would cause in American government.

This is why impeachment is such an ineffective tool in controlling presidents who break the law.

No Democrats voted to impeach Andrew Johnson, and he survived.
No Democrats voted to impeach Bill Clinton, and he survived.
Only one Republican voted to impeach Trump the first time, and he survived.
Only 7 Repukes voted to impeach him the second time, when he sent an angry mob to murder them. He survived.

You are dumber than a rock. He would have been hence he resigned. Eyes of the law. Good God. You’re a moron.

Honestly just a dumb pile of garbage. Waste of like defect. Report that.

Moron:

On the verge of being impeached, Nixon resigned the presidency on August 9, 1974, becoming the only U.S. president to do so. In all 48 people were found guilty of Watergate-related crimes, but Nixon was pardoned by his vice president and successor Gerald Ford on September 8.

Since we never removed a president through impeachment, and never will, we don't know what would have happened if Nixon fought it

A logical person connects the dots. You’re playing coy. Biden has screwed your party and the country well actually the world is moving right. The pendulum has swung, fat boy.

Nixon was guilty of his actions and Congress passed articles of impeachment July 27th,1974.

Nixon was impeached.

Nixon resigned August 8th,1974.

House found Nixon guilty.

Nixon resigned to avoid a Senate trial.

Ford pardoned a guilty man.

A peaceful transfer of power and a peaceful last Press Conference. I would like to see Government and Politics return to this.
