That’s not true. The president is confined by the laws Congress passes.Sorry, I am left wing, but presidents can do whatever they want with the border.
The only thing congress would be needed for is if something needed lots of funding.

Nope. Not my doing.Illegals sneaking across the border is your doing.... Lush
Send them back to where they came from. Yes? If you can't agree sit down and STFU. I'm weary of your left loon BS
Nope. Not my doing.
But YOU are refusing to deal with it
Do you believe in the law…Go away, report someone, blabber or something, I don't really care you tired old left loon. You're insignificant
LOL But no mention that in 4 years your orange douche bag did not finish the wall even after bragging he would have Mexico pay for it?
Poor gullible trumptards. No wonder you guys are always so mad.![]()
Do you believe in the law…
I have been paying attention. For a couple of decades now. And up until about 10 years ago, I would have given the blame to both parties for the mess.
Not anymore. Republicans steadfastly refuse to come to the table and work out a real solution. It's easier to campaign on building walls (that other countries will pay for...NOT!), frightening ma and pa white kettle in middle America that the brown skin people are coming to get them, and not penalizing the corporations who hire undocumented workers because those corps fill said Republican coffers with lotsa campaign cash.![]()
Fixing immigration requires Congress to act. It is more important to tbe Republicans to use this as a political platform than it is to fix it with a bipartisan bill that gives them much of what they asked for.
Honey… I’m sorry if you’re used to enormous schlongs in your stretched out gina. Maybe you ought to reconsider your life choices and avoid pulling trains.Evidently you don't you tired old needle dick. This nation has immigration laws. Sneaking across the border isn't one of those
Now sit down, STFU and stop thinking you're influencing anyway,
How borders are regulated is entire presidential, executive orders.
{...
First, some statutes supply executive agencies with authority over border operations. Perhaps most relevant is 19 U.S.C. § 1318(b)(2), which provides as follows:
[...The Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, when necessary to respond to a specific threat to human life or national interests, is authorized to close temporarily any Customs office or port of entry or take any other lesser action that may be necessary to respond to the specific threat. ...]
More generally, the Homeland Security Act makes the Secretary of Homeland Security responsible for “ecuring the borders, territorial waters, ports, terminals, waterways, and air, land, and sea transportation systems of the United States, including managing and coordinating those functions transferred to the Department at ports of entry.” A provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), somewhat similarly, grants the Secretary “the power and duty to control and guard the boundaries and borders of the United States against the illegal entry of aliens.” However, the INA also directs DHS to follow certain inspection procedures, including for asylum seekers who lack valid entry documents, and constitutional principles grant U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs) certain rights with respect to reentering the country, as discussed further below.Second, other statutes grant the executive branch broad authority to restrict the entry of aliens. INA § 212(f), which came to public attention when President Trump invoked it as authority for the “Travel Ban” executive orders and proclamation, confers exceptionally broad power on the President in this regard:
[...Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate....]

Let’s be honest. If Republicans were serious about securing the border they would not be against this bipartisan legislation that does just thatThere is no doubt, Biden could have been doing a lot more all along. Let's all be honest here for a change, securing the border is simply NOT part of the Dimocrat platform!! PERIOD!!
He didn’t tell illegals to surge the border
What gall this man has!
He tells the illegals to "surge to the border!" They deserve to be heard, all those criminals!
Day one, he ends all Trump-era border security measures!
Day one, he ends border wall construction!
Day one, the 'surge' increases, along with felons flooding in knowing that with Joe in charge, they are welcome to come in!
Months go by, the flood becomes a crisis, but the administration assures Americans that the "border is secure!"
States like Texas, knowing they've been hung out to dry, begin to try and go it alone, by securing their own borders!
Biden and his cronies immediately challenge in the courts ANY EFFORT that states use, to secure themselves from the flood which has now turned into a catastrophe in MANY places around the country!
And now, this same man, Joe Biden, has the FUCKING GALL, the absolute N-E-R-V-E to try and attempt to blame ANY of this on the Republicans for not being able to have secured borders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What an absolute piece of shit!!!
Hmmmm... he clearly did...
Let’s be honest. If Republicans were serious about securing the border they would not be against this bipartisan legislation that does just that
