I have seen clips of Kimmel, Fallon, and Colbert reacting to the election results, and they are nauseating. All of them refer to how "we" are disappointed with the results (or whatever). Who is this "we"?

Are they aware and do they care that Americans in their demographic overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump, and are manifestly NOT disappointed in the election results.

I am in bed reading when their programs are aired, so I've never actually seen them in action, other than clips like these. Who the fuck watches these guys?
