What the hell do you think any government employment, monopoly employment, trade unions involved and anything related is that is privileged with great pay, and benefits do to any area of the nation. That means there is less money for the areas like cities and such. Communism will deal with that in a shrinking economy and even take away pensions and benefits. You can build two identical one-billion-dollar stadiums in different parts of the nation and in the more seasoned corrupted areas have to end up paying a couple of hundred million dollars more for it at that price or get less of what is designed. Teachers, local transportation agencies, electric companies, gas companies, road and bridge authorities, it is endless. You talk about revenue sharing you never talk about how the rural people pay for this. Chicago is just one example that rapes the citizens in rural Illinois with the state government taxation.
