The Catholic Church’s reputation as to such artifacts is highly questionable, often used to extort from their parish faithful to stuff their coffers in the attempt to retain control over the masses. The Church proclaims the physical suffices to reinforce belief when in fact it is the unwavering belief in God and his son Jesus Christ that is the most important tenant of Christianity.
