Jesse Watters hits the nail on the head.

Another way to say it is he spilled the beans.

The right-wing media machine is hitting a wall

Last week, Fox News host Jesse Watters offered a succinct and accurate explanation of how the right elevates stories.

“We are waging a 21st-century information warfare campaign against the left, and they are using tactics from the 1990s,” he said, mocking Democrats’ reliance on news conferences and traditional media stories. “What you’re seeing on the right is asymmetrical. It’s like grassroots guerrilla warfare. Someone says something on social media. Musk retweets it. [Joe] Rogan podcasts it. Fox broadcasts it. And by the time it reaches everybody, millions of people have seen it.”

So.........Watters' view isn't exactly in the mold of the famous newsman Edward R. Murrow. More in the mold of the famous propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

I'm going to take the liberty of changing Watters' quote to more accurately reflect what's happening. “We are waging a 21st-century disinformation warfare campaign against the left." He even explains the step by step methodology of how lies gain widespread adoption among consumers of RWM before they can be refuted. We know from psychological studies once a belief is adopted it is difficult to dislodge. Which explains why so many beliefs on the Right remain after being thoroughly debunked.

Just watched this. You should too. It is really relevant to your op.

May I offer a slightly different take on Joseph Goebbels?

"If you tell the truth often enough, people will begin to believe it."

Thanks Jesse. :)

Well, he was right about the left lying.
This, he insisted, reflected the right’s interest in “expressing information” in contrast to the left’s “suppressing information.”
The important thing to remember is that what Watters is describing is unreliable or inaccurate information, claims that are compelling to the right.

What makes what the Right is spewing so compelling to its audience is the fact they are lies. It's infotainment.

Remember when you guys said that the laptop was russian disinformation?

That was funny. might have decided the election. Could have avoided a lot of damage to the country, if not for that lie.

Goebbels' quote was in recognition of what the Nazis were knowingly spewing were lies. Watters knows it too. But he sees his employment as taking precedence over the nation.

and your side tells the truth?.....

Hey, remember when Trump condemned nazis and their violence and your side lied to the America people about that?

That's a bumper sticker slogan reinforced by overly simplistic disinformation.

no, that was your side lying and more than lying, using government power to suppress speech, in an intelligence/political operation against AMERICA, to control the outcome of an election.

That's big. YOu don't get to ignore that. Not now, not ever.

I have my own filter for information from both sides. I watch more liberal media than conservative, so I can keep an eye on them. Talk about entertainment. :auiqs.jpg:

It's true, Watters is describing unreliable or inaccurate left-wing information.

WAPO lifts an out of context sentence from Watters and the left that never watches Watters eats it up because it's what they want to hear.

The Left is always upsetting the social order and norms.

The right wants to stabilize the social order and return to traditional norms.

These far rightwing idiots are blowing their wads earlier, and earlier.

Let's see how long it takes them this go 'round before they smack that wall going over 90 miles per hour head first.

The Standard Troll Bot example of citing dishonesty, but telling you that it is their opponents use of info that is Fake ,NEVER their own .

Burger86 and his fellow Troll Bots are having to use every bit of dishonesty to keep up a pretence of opposition .
This mob who created Woke are a bunch of dishonest scoundrels pretending to be good Samaritans .
They mock others, using Goebbels as a swear word , but preach to others slavishly using his handbook .
