Jesse Jackson Dies at 84

Sure it does, if it didn't there would've never been slavery, Jim Crow, lynching, racism and discrimination.

I would never be friends with a racist POS like you.

My ancestors were never involved in slavery, Jim Crow, lynching, racism and discrimination, just as your ancestors were not. If you think you deserve any special consideration, you're barking up the wrong tree, doggie.

I have ancestors that fought to free the slaves.

That's awesome.

So you are against someone getting a job because his dad owns the company, then?
Or because they are sleeping with the regional vice-president?
Or because they are drinking buddies with the boss (at least until he gets his fourth DUI and they confiscate his car.)

All three scenarios above are things I've encountered in my career.
No, those things are just as wrong as giving the job to the black over the white even when he’s less qualified.

Your attempt to show other unfair hiring practices does not justify anti-white hiring policies.

Stop gaslighting.

My late acquaintance Roger Wilkins who endorsed Jackson for POTUS, but who professionally very much disliked Jackson, won't be waiting at the pearly gates to give him a pat on the back. He saw Jackson as a showboat with no real substance.

You love Condi Rice because she would never criticize racist like you, she went along to get along.
No, I loved her because she is a remarkable woman, intelligent, accomplished, overcame the racism of her southern environment, and got to where she was due to her OWN ability and drive - rather than special favors due to her skin color.

Sounds like you didn’t like Rice. You’re a racist.

One of mine deserted the Confederate army in Arkansas. Got a black girl knocked up and sent her up North to school.

During my liberal period, I actually wrote in Jackson against Bill Clinton in 1992.

True story. Thank God I outgrew that.

But yet those things happen, that's my point.

All DEI does is make up for white privilege.

That's it.

Since we aren't going to be able to eliminate white privilege, DEI is the only way to make sure everyone gets a fair shake.

Condi Rice. War Criminal and Zionist Stooge. No wonder you loved her.

Jackson was pushed to the side by the dnc after he got caught on a hot mic speaking the truth about Obama

She is definitely a remarkable, intelligent and accomplished black woman. My problem is black folks who go along to get along with racist. You have gotten more special treatment and privileges than we could ever dream of.

“Our flag is red, white and blue, but our nation is a rainbow – red, yellow, brown, Black and White – and we’re all precious in God’s sight,” Jackson once said.

Like for most activist of all types I have the same opinion, I liked Jesse Jackson on some things and not others. I will give him credit for getting out there and try and do some good in this world as he saw it and take the heat for doing so.
The best thing for all of us to do is to do the same .

You hate any black man that speaks up and seeks Justice for black folks.

you've been listening to IMnuts too much.

MY dad worked construction his whole life, he worked with black men on a daily basis. my mom worked in a factory, with black men and women on a daily basis. both were born and raised in farming country.

the only reason they ever put any man/woman down, was if they were slackers. they didn't care what color their skin was, as long as they got their jobs done.

they raised their children to look at people the same way.

I spent 20 years in the military, and 10 years in Corrections, and never forgot their lessons.

and to have assholes like you and IM call me a racist turns my stomach.
